Loomly and Hootsuite both schedule posts and both have approval workflows. For an agency, the difference that matters most is how each one charges as you add clients and teammates, and whether a client can approve a post without becoming a paid user on your plan.
This comparison prices the team subscription for an agency with 10 clients, 3 social accounts per client and 3 agency team members. Client approval costs are shown separately. Hootsuite uses its current global USD price; the rupee amounts are illustrative conversions, not an India quote.
Loomly pricing
Loomly prices by social accounts and users, with unlimited calendars. As listed on its pricing page on 3 November 2026:
- Starter: US$65 a month for 12 social accounts and 3 users, or US$49 a month equivalent on annual billing (US$588 a year).
- Beyond: US$332 a month for 60 social accounts and unlimited users, or US$249 a month equivalent on annual billing (US$2,988 a year).
- Enterprise: a custom quote, from 61 social accounts.
Both plans include approval workflows, advanced analytics and an inbox for replying to comments and messages, with saved replies and conversation assignment. Social listening is limited to 2 checks a month on Starter and 5 on Beyond. Custom roles and workflows are on Beyond. Loomly offers a free trial with no card.
Two limits matter for agencies. Each calendar holds one social account per platform, so each client usually gets its own calendar. And everyone who takes part in a calendar, including a client who approves posts, counts as a user.
Hootsuite pricing
Hootsuite's global pricing page, checked 3 November 2026, lists Advanced at US$399 per user per month on annual billing, with unlimited social accounts. Approval workflows start on Advanced. Ask for a current India quote before buying.
Advanced includes inbox assignment and routing, custom reports with advanced exports, and report sharing. Its Quick Search covers 30 days; Enterprise listening adds 13 months of history.
Team subscription cost for 10 clients
| Tool | How it charges | Plan for this setup | Monthly cost or equivalent, excluding tax |
|---|---|---|---|
| Loomly | By social accounts and users, in USD | Beyond (Starter stops at 12 accounts) | US$332 on monthly billing, about ₹28,200; US$249/month equivalent on annual billing, about ₹21,200 |
| Hootsuite | Per paid user; global USD list price | Advanced, 3 agency users; client users excluded | US$1,197/month equivalent on annual billing, about ₹1,01,745 |
| Poststack | By social accounts and people; clients who review are free | Agency: 30 accounts, you and up to 4 teammates | ₹8,000 a month; prices exclude GST |
Sources: Loomly and Hootsuite, checked 3 November 2026. USD converted at ₹85, for illustration. Hootsuite's figure covers the agency team only and is not an India quote.
Loomly Beyond includes unlimited users, covering the team and client reviewers. Above 60 social accounts, it requires an Enterprise quote. Hootsuite charges for each additional user.
Client approval on each
Loomly includes client reviewers in its user allowance. Hootsuite's approval requests go to team users with social-account access; clients participating that way need paid seats.
| Tool | How a client approves | Plan needed |
|---|---|---|
| Loomly | Approval workflows on both plans; a client taking part in a calendar counts as a user | Starter or Beyond; custom workflows on Beyond |
| Hootsuite | Client added as a paid team user; no public approval link in the documented workflow | Advanced; Enterprise separately records outside decisions |
| Poststack | No-login review link or client portal; reviewers are free; feedback rounds capped per client | Every plan |
On Loomly Starter, three users is the limit, so a client who approves shares those places with your team. Beyond removes that limit. For one reviewer per client, Hootsuite would need 13 users including the agency team: US$5,187/month equivalent on annual billing, about ₹4,40,895 at the global list price and illustrative ₹85 conversion.
You can collect client decisions outside Hootsuite. Its Enterprise external-approval feature lets a permitted team member record that decision; it does not give the client an approval link. Enterprise pricing is custom.
Choosing between Loomly and Hootsuite
Choose Loomly if you want a calendar per client with publishing, analytics and an inbox on one plan, and your team and client reviewers fit inside its user limits. It supports TikTok and Google Business Profile. Its listening is limited to a few checks a month.
Choose Hootsuite Advanced if message routing and reporting are central to your team's work. It includes both; its listening history is shorter than Enterprise's. Budget client users separately if they will approve inside Hootsuite.
Poststack as another option
Poststack charges by social accounts and people, not by client. The Agency plan is ₹8,000 a month for 30 accounts and 5 people (you and 4 teammates); prices exclude GST. Clients review on a no-login link or a client portal, are free, and never count as people on the plan. You set feedback rounds per client.
Review status does not stop a scheduled post going out. If a client must approve first, keep the post as a draft until they do.
What you give up from Loomly and Hootsuite: the social inbox, Hootsuite's deeper listening (Loomly includes only 2 social-listening checks a month on Starter and 5 on Beyond), built-in reports, and publishing to TikTok and Google Business Profile on Loomly.
