Statusbrew is built around engagement: a shared inbox for comments and messages, with rules that sort and moderate them. Approval workflows, where an outside approver can review a post, are on its Premium, Enterprise and Agency plans. Premium is the self-serve plan a small agency would use. For an agency that mainly needs clients to approve posts before they go out, that means paying for an upper plan, in dollars, and adding profiles as the client list grows.
Below, five tools are compared on client review and on cost, for a sample Indian agency with 10 clients.
Statusbrew pricing
Statusbrew sells plans with a set number of users and social profiles. The annual prices, limits and add-on rates below are from Statusbrew's help pages. The monthly prices are from NapoleonCat's Statusbrew pricing breakdown, November 2026, because Statusbrew's pricing page loads them in the browser.
- Lite: US$69/month equivalent on annual billing, or US$89 on monthly billing. 1 user, 5 profiles, no add-ons.
- Standard: US$129/month equivalent on annual billing, or US$179 on monthly billing. 3 users, 10 profiles.
- Premium: US$229/month equivalent on annual billing, or US$299 on monthly billing. 6 users, 15 profiles. This is the self-serve plan with approval workflows.
- Enterprise is custom, and agency pricing is quoted from US$49 per client a month.
- Extra profiles are US$10 a month each on Standard and US$15 on Premium; extra users are US$30 and US$35. Lite cannot add either. Statusbrew says add-ons cost less on yearly billing.
Statusbrew offers a 14-day free trial on Premium and 7 days on Lite and Standard, with no card.
As an illustration, one way to cover 10 clients and 30 accounts with approvals is Premium with 15 extra profiles. On monthly billing that is US$299 plus US$225, about US$524 a month. On annual billing the plan is US$229 a month and the add-ons cost less, so the total is below US$454 a month equivalent; Statusbrew shows the exact figure in Billing. This is not necessarily the cheapest option: its agency pricing may cost less, so ask Statusbrew for an agency quote before you compare savings.
Client approval features to compare
Check three things in each tool:
- Where the record lives. The client's approval or feedback should sit on the post itself, with every revision, so nobody has to search a WhatsApp chat to find out who said yes.
- How many rounds a client gets. Some tools let you cap feedback rounds per client, so one post does not go through five rounds of small changes.
- What the client has to do. Check whether a reviewer needs an account, or takes a paid seat on your plan.
Also check whether "approval" means a client review or an internal sign-off inside your team. Some tools only offer the second.
Five alternatives, priced for 10 clients, 30 accounts and 3 people
The sample agency has 10 clients, 3 social accounts each, and 3 people on the team. Figures exclude tax; Indian GST applies on top where the vendor charges it. Check each vendor's page for your own numbers, since plans and limits change.

How a client reviews differs as much as the price:
| Tool | Client review | Plan needed |
|---|---|---|
| Statusbrew | Approval workflows with external approvers | Premium (also Enterprise and Agency) |
| SocialPilot | Clients approve by email or in a review tab in the dashboard | Premium |
| Poststack | No-login review link or client portal; reviewers are free; feedback rounds capped per client | Every plan |
| Buffer | Approval workflows are an internal sign-off, not a client review link | Team |
| HeyOrca | Unlimited users and approvals on each calendar, so reviewers add no cost; ask HeyOrca whether a client needs an account | Basic |
| Planable | Unlimited users, so reviewers add no cost; guest reviewers; required approval on Pro | Pro |
SocialPilot
SocialPilot started in India and prices in rupees. On its India pricing, Premium is ₹6,000 a month for 30 accounts and 3 users, and it is the plan with client approval workflows. It also has a social inbox and white-label reports. Clients approve by email or in a review tab in the dashboard. At this setup it costs the least of the five. See SocialPilot alternatives.
Poststack
Poststack charges by social accounts and people, not by client. The Agency plan is ₹8,000 a month before GST for 30 accounts and 5 people (you and 4 teammates). Clients who review are free and never count as people on the plan. You pay in rupees through Razorpay, by UPI AutoPay or card.
Each client is a workspace with its own calendar and connected accounts. Clients review a post on a no-login link, or log in to a client portal to see their calendar. You set feedback rounds per client, from 1 to 10 or off, and can turn on a 48-hour review window. Each post keeps a timeline of comments and revisions. Reminders go by daily email, and on WhatsApp when you turn it on for that client (direct messages only) and they have agreed to receive messages.
Review status does not stop a scheduled post going out. If a client must approve first, keep the post as a draft until they do.
It publishes to Instagram (posts, carousels, Reels, Stories), Facebook Pages, LinkedIn profiles and Pages, YouTube (videos and Shorts) and Threads, through each platform's official sign-in. Analytics cover Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube, and monthly reports are put together by hand today.
What you give up from Statusbrew: the social inbox, comment moderation rules and TikTok publishing. Poststack has no social inbox or listening.
Buffer
Buffer's Team plan uses volume tiers. The first 10 channels are US$12 each on monthly billing (US$10 each on yearly), channels 11 to 25 are US$4, and channels 26 to 50 are US$3. At 30 channels that is US$195 a month on monthly billing. Yearly billing charges 10 months for 12, so US$1,950 a year, about US$163 a month. It includes unlimited team members and content approval workflows, which are an internal sign-off rather than a client review link. It supports TikTok and Google Business Profile, which Poststack does not.
HeyOrca
HeyOrca bills per calendar, with each client on its own calendar. Basic is US$59 per calendar per month, with unlimited users, posts and approvals. Five or more calendars get a 40% multi-calendar discount, which brings 10 calendars to about US$354 a month. Reports, the social inbox and listening are add-ons on Basic. See HeyOrca alternatives.
Planable
Planable bills per workspace, usually one per client. Pro is US$59 per workspace per month on monthly billing, or US$49 on annual billing, with unlimited users. Planable offers a volume discount from five workspaces, so ask for a quote at 10. Analytics and the social inbox are paid add-ons. See Planable alternatives.
Reasons to stay on Statusbrew
- Your agency answers comments and messages for clients every day, and you use its inbox and moderation rules.
- You post to TikTok for clients. Statusbrew supports it; Poststack does not.
- You are on its agency pricing and the quote works out lower than the figures above.
How to choose
- Start with the work that takes your team's time. If it is replying to comments and messages, you need a tool with a social inbox. If it is getting clients to approve posts, look at how each tool handles client review.
- Count your clients, connected accounts and people, then price each tool at the size you expect in a year. Plans that cap profiles can jump a tier when you sign one more client.
- Check that every platform and format your clients use publishes directly. A tool that sends a phone reminder still leaves someone posting by hand.
- If you pay in dollars, budget for the rate moving.
Moving off Statusbrew
Name one person to own the switch, and plan a short overlap so nothing goes out twice:
- Export the reports and any approval records you need from Statusbrew before the account closes.
- Connect each client's accounts in the new tool.
- Check whether Statusbrew lets you export your scheduled posts. If it does, map the columns to the new tool's import fields. In Poststack you can import posts from a CSV file and check each one before it becomes a draft.
- Check the media, dates, times and time zone on every imported post.
- Before the first post is due in the new tool, the switch owner confirms each post is scheduled in only one tool and removes it from the other.
You can move one client at a time. Clients can review individual posts in Poststack through a no-login link.
